In this forum you'll learn how to use pallets to its fullest potential


[]Before we get into how to use pallets we need to know what are pallets for
-- pallets are for distancing your self from the hunter


[]There are 2 types of pallets
--safe pallets ( survivor can hide behind the pallet and hunter canot attack the survivor without going though the pallet first....... Which the survivor can interrupt the hunter by stunning him )

--unsafe pallet (survivor can't not hide behind the pallet so the hunter can preemptively attack to hit the survivor while the survivor is pulling the pallet)

So knowing this information it's better to stunning hunter with safe pallets than the unsafe ones . So with unsafe pallets it's better to just pull the pallet down preemptively than getting a hit while trying to stunning the hunter :D with safe pallets on the other hand you can safely wait for the hunter to attack and then stun them...... But if the hunter tries to walk though and attack you will have enough time to react to stun the hunter..... Never risk getting hit over stunning the hunter it's not worth it. :3


[]Although I just mentioned there's save and unsave pallets not all save pallets are save
What I mean by that is
--if the hunter can go around the pallet  after you pull the pallet down that means that , that pallet is not safe so it's better to just to loop the hunter take a hit in that pallet and stun the hunter then run to the next looping area

[]Pallet efficiency
--DO NOT WASTE PALLETS!!! pallets are the most usefull tool to prolong a Chase and helps you loop/kite the hunter for the whole game mastering this will help you and your team to win much more games :D

1.dont wait for the hunter
--what I mean by this if the hunter is chasing you and he's still far away don't help him by staying still near a pallet RUN AWAY don't try to stun him or mindgame him if he's still far...... run and try to go to a looping/kiting area... But what if your in a looping area.... Then RUN don't wait there try to prolong the chase if you can......... But if the hunter is to close then try to loop in that area

2.stuning the hunter
--you don't need to stun the hunter it's better to preemptively pull down a pallet if the hunter is to close rather than risking a hit although stunning the hunter
--if you successfully distance your self with the hunter than that pallet is not wasted :D

3.dont use pallets to early
--although I just said that it's better to preemptively pull down pallets it doesn't mean that you should pull all the pallets down when your being chased although it prolongs the chase but those pallets are being wasted...... Only use pallets if the hunter is at the very minimal distance of you getting hit....
Again if your being chased then RUN AWAY try to loop don't immediately pull down the pallet if there's still some distance and your sure that you can still loop without getting hit use Windows also not just pallets to your advantage to prolong the chase

4. Try not to use all the pallet in one area
--this mean don't waste all the pallet in the same area after pulling down a pallet and distancing your self with the hunter rather than staying at that area it's better to run to another area and use one there so when a teammate is being chased in an area that you were in he/she is not completely defenceless

5.dont use pallets if your going to get hit
--if your going to get hit it's better to just take the damage and use the speed boost to another area rather than risking to pull a pallet and get hit (then the hunter destroys the pallet and the pallet is wasted)


[]Pallet saving
-- to pallet save you need to stun the hunter with a pallet while he/she/it is carrying the survivor it can be done if you know that the hunter is going to walk through a pallet while carrying a survivor
--also as the survivor if your incapacitated you should crawl to the nearest pallet so other survivor can help you by stunning the hunter
--to pallet save you need to wait until the hunter finishes he/she/it careing the survivor animation if not it will not work :3

In general you need to play so you can learn the looping/kiting spots and to know where the pallet placements are
