Identity V won't launch on PC

I just got a new laptop and downloaded idv on it except whenever I try to launch it the logo pops up for a couple of seconds and disappears. The game doesn't launch either and I've tried running it as an administrator as well as switching my compatibility mode to windows 8 but nothing worked. I saw someone say to open the file location and run the exe file there, and I've done that but nothing worked. I've also reinstalled it but still nothing. Does anyone know what to do?

Hey, I just tried launching the game too and I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried to open things from the file location, but again it keeps asking me if I want to allow it and pops up with the logo. I was looking around and it seems like this has been a problem for about a year now, I wish they would fix it. I haven't seen any solutions either.

Hey any ideas on how to fix it? ive been trying this for a while now and i cant figure anything out, my friend apparently got it to work but doesnt know how they did

Someone on TikTok said maybe you don't have enough storage.. I deleted quite a bit of files and I'm still having the same issue as OP. But maybe try deleting things you don't need?
